Skjerpet ligger tett ved en traktorsti opp fra gården Roem. Det består av en vannfylt synk med vegger på 4x4 m. Det er også sprengt ut litt i en nabbe 10 m lengre sør, og 15 m lengre NØ er en mindre vannfylt synk, 5x2 m. Magnetkis og mindre mengder pyritt og kobberkis opptrer på kvartsganger og i grovkornet amfibolittisk bergart som dels er epidotisert. Forekomsten har ubetydelig størrelse.
