Dette skjerpet ligger oppe i den bratte lia over Sundsvatn og den nedlagte gården Midtsund. Det ble ikke funnet under befaringen i 2007. Koordinatene er tatt fra Nordrum & Van der Wel, 1981. Beskrivelsen er hentet fra Myhra (1961) som refererer til Bergmesterens befaring i 1882. Forekomsten er en 1 meter bred granittisk pegmatittgang som har øst-vest strøk og nordlig fall. Den er oppgitt til å være parallell med skifrigheten i omgivende skiferbergart. Gangen er grovkornet, er dominert av kvarts, mens glimmer og feltspat er underordnet. Den inneholder noe kobberkis, molybdenglans og bornitt. Funnet ble ansett å være ubetydelig, men mer arbeid ble anbefalt for å blottlegge gangen.

Abstract:
The mineral, rock and ore deposits within map-sheet Sauda are described. The most important types are slate and schist, fluorite, and iron-titanium, copper and zinc deposits. Mica, feldspar, soapstone, asbestos, manganese, molybdenum and lead deposits are also present. No significant mining or quarrying activity is in progress at the present time (1978). Most of the occurrences of slate and schist are located within the lower Caledonian thrust zone. The iron-titanium deposits are of magmatic origin and related to mafic intrusives. The fluorite, copper and molybdenum deposits are associated with various stages of hydrothermal activity in Precambrian time. The Sauda zinc deposits occur in metamorphic rocks and have been affected by hydrothermal activity. The lead mineralizations are confined to regions along the eastern border of the Caledonian mountain chain. They are most likely of the same type as the lead deposits occurring along this border elsewhere in Scandinavia.

Abstract:
Befaringsrapport fra flere mindre skjerp i området. Kobberkis finnes i kvartsganger i skifer, på en forekomst nevnes også molybdenglans i skiferen. Skjerpene er for små til å ha særlig intresse.
