The deposit is also dubbed Lifjellheia, described in NGU-report 723 (Geis 1968). It is located in the Kilsfjord, right at Smørvikbukt bay, about 150m from the shore, on the parcel of Frovik. The deposit is shaped as an up to 1m wide ore vein following the layering in the host rock (ESE-WNW), dips 60° S. The vein can be followed several hundreds of metres along the strike.

From NGU's Reference Archive:
Stadheim, J. , 1936
Lifjellheia, Smørvik. (Fra dagbok)
;Norges geologiske undersøkelse;FAGRAPPORT;Bergarkivet; No.BA 2678;2 pages
Abstract:

Geis, H.P. , 1968
Norges jern-titanforekomster
;Norges geologiske undersøkelse;FAGRAPPORT;Bergarkivet; No.BA 7907;155 pages
