Skjerpet ligger ca. 300 m nord for Kolbergtjern og består av en mindre, dels vannfylt skjæring i glissen gran- og furuskog. Den er orientert tilnærmet Ø-V med sidevegger på 5x2m, og er opptil 2 m høy i vest. Rustfarget, biotittførende kvartsittisk bergart med svak disseminasjon av pyritt og få uregelmessige kvartsårer med litt kobberkis dominerer. Det vil si at det er skjerpet i en fahlbånd sone.
