| Forekomsten ligger 500 m sør for Honsvannsveien omkring toppen av en rund ås med granskog. Skjerpet består av en vannfylt dagskjæing med vegger som er 4-5 m lange og opptil 2 m høy i nord. Veggene, som i hovedsak er utilgjengelig, domineres av blokkoppsprukket, middelskornet metagabbro som dels er foliert. Den kan være svakt rustfarget, men forekomsten er en jern-titan forekomst som kan sammenlignes med Gullaksrud (BU0209) som ligger 7 km lengre mot SSV. Ca. 80 m lengre mot sørøst er det skutt en mindre skjæring mot vest i en 5-6 m høy brattskrent. Skjerpet ligger i tett granskog og en eventuell tipp er fullstendig gjenvokst. I skrenten finnes foliert metagabbro. |
