The Lillefjell deposit is a stratiform massive sulfide deposit hosted by metagreywacke. A metagabbroic body is also close to the deposit. It was subject to mining between 1760 and 1895, and 107 000 t of ore was produced. The crude ore contained 5 % Cu and 4.5 % Zn.
