| Forekomsten ligger på vestsida av Bjørvatnet og er lett tilgjengelig fra en sti fra sørøstenden av vannet. Den består av en tilnærmet øst-vest orientert (96°) vannfylt synk med sidevegger på 6x2 m. De er 2-2,5 m høye over vannspeilet. Biotittførende, kvartsittisk bergart med svakt utvikla foliasjon som har orientering 12°/85° dominerer. På tippen finnes kun svak disseminasjon av jernsulfider i den kvartsittiske bergarten. Ca. 20 m lengre nord finnes en liten grop med tilsvarende mineralisert bergart. |
