| Forekomsten ligger like ved mye brukt tursti, om lag 200 m nord for tjernet med samme navn. Skjerpet består av to små groper som er drevet på en kvartsgang i NØ-SV retning (~40 grader). Det nordligste skjerpet ligger nærmest i stien og er 3x3 m i diameter og ca. 1 m dypt. Den mineraliserte kvartsgangen representerer sprekkefyllinger i brkesjiert, finkornet amfibolitt og består av drusekvarts i kamstruktur. Pyritt opptrer i mm-store korn i fragmenter/linser nær kanten av kvartsårene. I tillegg til pyritt som er dominerende sulfid er det enkelte aggregater med kobberkis, samt noe sinkblende og blyglans. Total mektighet på gangen er 3 m. 30 m mot SV er en grop/innhugg i en liten skrent, ca 3x3m og inntil 3m høyt. Her er det lite mineralisert materiale, men mye breksjiert amfibolitt med nettverk av kvartsårer i amfibolitt. |
