Forekomsten ligger på sørvestsiden av fjellet Akkesvarri, mellom Øvrevatn og Gaggejav'ri. Det går vei fra E6 nesten opp til forekomsten, men den er stengt med bom. Forekomsten ligger innenfor forsvarets skytefelt. Forekomsten er undersøkt med røsking og en kort synk. Disse arbeidene er trolig utført i årene 1905-1908 og resultatene er beskrevet av Nordenskjøld (1909). Mineraliseringen består av hematitt og magnetitt i bånd i kvartsitt sammen med noe bornitt og kobberkis. De samme mineralene finnes på årer i kvartsitt og i amfibolitt. Forekomsten er helt tilsvarende FI0064 og av samme type som Briitajav'rit (FI0053).
