| Ved Bjørnhaugen nord for Holand på vestsiden av Gullesfjord ligger en uren kvartsitthorisont. Den ble i 1979 kartlagt for pukkanvendelser. Resultatet var ikke positivt (Bakke 1979). En samleprøve fra 1997 (JW97-58) viste 4,58% Al2O3, og dette innebærer at forekomsten heller ikke er egnet som industrimineral-råstoff. |
