Forekomsten sees som en svært skifrig og glimmerrik karbonatbergart. I følge grunneier har det ikke vært noen drift på dolomitt eller kalk pådette sted i dette området noen gang. Området er svært overdekket, men det er sannsynligvis mye karbonat i dette området. Skifrigheten er nokså flattliggende 006/12
