Forekomsten skal ligge oppi Åsen øst for Pollenvatnet. Bergarten er en glimmerskifer med svakt fall mot øst. I en ti meter bred sone er det en svært rusten skifer med litt grafitt og svovelkis. Henrich Neuman besøkte forekomsten i 1952 og mener at forekomsten er uten økonomisk interesse.
