Forekomsten sees idag som noen tynne soner av grafittskifer i noen små veiskjæringer langs riksveien. Mineraliseringen består av en fattig grafittskifer som opptrer i tynne bånd i en metasedimentær lagserie. Grafitten er god krystallinsk, men gehaltene er alt for beskjedne til at forekomsten har noen økonomisk interesse i dag.
