| Forekomsten ligger noen titalls meter fra Jennestad handelssted, dette var hovedforekomsten for drift ved Jennestad grafittverks første periode fra 1890-1914. Det ble drevet under jord. I dag er området inngjerdet og vannfylt. Forekomstens geologi kan derfor ikke studeres i detalj. I 2012-2013 utførte selskapet Norwegian graphite bakkegeofysikk og oppboring på en del nypåviste grafittsoner i dette området |
