Ved Remmen på østsiden av Dolstadåsen. På sydsiden av Mosjøen eruptivfelt opptrer en kontaktmarmor. I kontakten mot eruptivmassivet kommer først en kontaktomvandlet skifersone på ca. 500 m med overgang til marmorsonene som stryker tilnærmet parallell med eruptivgrensen og mektigheten på draget er her ca. 100 m. I de 50 -60 m, som ligger nærmest eruptivmassivet, er marmoren middels til finkornet og hvit med noen grovere korn. Fargen er hvit med en svak grålig tone mens marmoren som ligger litt lengre bort fra eruptivkontakten er lyse grå og mer grovkrystallinsk. Denne kontaktmarmoren fra Remmen er delvis en dolomittmarmor Ref: Vogt NGU 22 s.257 og 258. |

Über die wichtigsten Eigenschaften des Marmors, mit besonderer Rücksicht auf die norwegischen Marmorarten daneben über Betrieb usw der Brüche (S. 18-158). 3. Über die wichtigsten norwegischen Marmorfelder, hauptsächlich in der nord- norwegischen Glimmerschiefer-Marmor-Gruppe (S. 159-268); weiter in den Trondheim-schen Schiefern (S. 269-282): im Grundgebirge (S. 282-291); in der Bergen-schen Schiefern (S. 291-296), und Contactmarmor in dem Oslo-Gebiet (S. 296-303). 4. Zum Schluss eine wirthschaftliche über die Marmorproduction der Welt und über die Entwicklung der norwegischen Marmorindustrie. |
