Forekomsten består av svovelkis noe kobberkis impregnasjon i sterkt oppsprukket grønnstein tilhørende Nussirgruppen. Malakitt, limonitt og jernoksyd utfelling er vanlig langs sprekker og kløvplan. Mineraliseringen er blottet i en 10 x 4 meter, nordvestlig-sørøstlig orientert sone. Sporadisk kismineralisering kan også observeres utenfor denne sonen. I tillegg er kobberkis observert i kvartsgang ved lokaliteten. Ingen tegn til virksomhet av skjerpere er observert i området.
