Ifølge en usignert rapport utarbeidet av NGU i 1922 (BV 182, Rapport over A/S Meraker Gruber’s skjerp og gruber) skal Stadsaas Grube være ca. 12 m dyp og malmsonens mektighet i dagen var ca. 12 cm, og ca. 30 cm ved 6 meters dyp. Driften ble innstilt i 1850. Sjaktåpningen er nå fullstendig gjengrodd og ligger i SØ-kanten av et bergartsflog mellom to større myrer. Hovedbergart er finkornet, biotittførende metagåvakke. I tippen dominerer to malmtyper; massiv, finkornet magnetkis-sinkblende med aggregater av kobberkis og bergartsfragmenter og kobberkis i strenger og disseminert i kvartsittisk bergart.
