| Description |
| Ovenfor dyrket mark ved samvirkelaget i Rotsund finnes en sone av kvartsittskifer hvor det er tatt ut en god del takskifer. Spalten er ganske god og spaltetykkelsen i området 0.5 - 3 cm. Bergarten er tett oppsprukket og småfoldet. Det er funnet områder i den sydlige del av sonen som kan være av bedre kvalitet. Skiferen er hovedsakelig brukt til takstein. Bergarten er lite egnet til murestein. |
