Description

Bergarten er også her kvartsittskifer, men den spalter ikke riktig så bra som i bruddene på andre siden av vatnet. Den har ofte noe mer ruglete overflate, og spalter ofte tykkere enn hensiktsmessig for takskifer. Bruddet har i starten vært et takskiferbrudd, men de siste år har det vært tatt ut murestein. For tiden er det ingen drift i bruddet, men maskiner står igjen, så driften kommer kanskje igang igjen.

Location

Dette bruddet ligger i lia på vestsiden av Lønavatnet, rett vest for de store bruddene Nordheim, Lemme og Nedkvitne.
