| Description |
| Forekomsten inkluderer flere nedlagte skiferbrudd. Med unntak av det nordligste, ligger bruddene i svært bratt og vanskelig terreng. Det antas at bruddene vesentlig er drevet i første halvdel av 1900-tallet. Skiferen i forekomsten er av Pillarguri type Ottaskifer, dvs. at den inneholder markerte, nåler av hornblende. Fargen er sort eller rustfarget (dagnært fjell). Spaltetykkelsen er middels til tynn. Forekomsten utgjør et smalt belte, ca. 1,2 km langt, orientert nordvest-sydøst. Kløven er steil. Det finnes relativt hyppige sprekke- og foldesoner i forekomsten, og den er kvalitetsmessig og adkomstmessig vanskelig å drive. Det finnes reserver av skifer i forekomsten, men nye uttak vil neppe være aktuelt med mindre denne skifertypen blir vanskelig å få tak i fra andre forekomster i Ottaområdet. |
| Examples |
| Pillaguri-type Ottaskifer brukes til gulv, fasade, heller og tykkere takskifer. Brunlig patina fremkommer ved lang tids utvendig bruk. Det er ikke kjent konkrete brukseksempler fra denne forekomsten. |

| Forekomsten ligger på vestsiden av Klevli, rett ovenfor (nord for) Dale ved Otta. Adkomst fra grus/traktorveg. |
