Description

Bergarten er en grovkornet , lys granittisk gneis. Feltspaten er delvis rød-rosa, og enkelte større feltspatkorn mørkere - bortimot fiolett. Den er brukt til murer, vesentlig grunnmurer til hus i nærområdet. Bruddet dekker et areal på 40-50 m2 og bunnen er 2-3 m under naturlig terrrengoverflate. I dag er bruddet fyllt med mye søppel, bl. a. et par bilvrak. Ganske stor skog er vokst opp i bruddet, så det er nok ikke drevet de siste 50 år.

Location

Man kjører RV206 nordover fra Flisa. Etter 2,3 km tar en vei av mot vest. Denne går gjennom et boligområde og deler seg etter 250 m. 80 m VSV for krysset ligger hovedbruddet.

Bruddet ligger 90 m SSV for hovedbruddet. Det går inn i en skogkledd ås i øst, og det er dyrkamark like vest for det.
