| Abstract: | |
| Befaringen ble foretatt i oppdrag for Os Tiltaksnemnd. To felter med ned- lagte skiferbrudd ble undersøkt. Felt 1: Her har det vært skiferdrift i ca. 100 år som binæring til jordbruket (for tiden ikke i drift). Skiferen er en fyllittskifer. Hele området er mer eller mindre foldet, og ispreng av kvarts er vanlig. Det er et karakteristisk trekk at driften i de enkelte brudd er innstilt grunnet foldninger og for- urensninger av kvarts. Gjenopptakelse av driften i de større brudd kan ikke ansees regningssvarende. Felt 2: Her er det også tatt ut ganske mye skifer, det meste før siste ver- denskrig. Her er drevet spesielt etter en sone og gjort små forsøk til sidene for denne. Konklusjon: Begge feltene er godt undersøkt ved en rekke prøvebrudd i for- skjellige nivåer. Det er derfor ingen grunn til å foreta videre avrøsking og prøvedrift. |
