Abstract |
In Norway, just one occurrence of emerald has been mined, located at the Byrud farm on the shore of Lake Mjøsa near Minnesund in Eidsvoll, about 70 km north of Oslo. The deposit was worked by an English company around 1900, and even today collectors are able to find good specimens. |
