| Description |
| Bergarten er en rosa granitt med mørkerøde spetter som er særdeles massiv i området RV17/Fykanvatnet. De røde spettene antas å skyldes finfordelt hematitt i kalifeltspaten. Granitten i dette området er massiv, og det vil være mulig å produsere stor blokk uten at skrotprosenten blir høy. Adkomstmulihetene er også meget gunstige. NGU tok ut en blokk i granitten i 1995 som ble saget på Løkken og plater polert. |

| Prøven som NGU tok i 1995 var mellom tunnellåpningen til Glomfjordtunnellen (RV17) og Fykanvatnet. Granitten dekker et større areal i dette området. |
