| Description |
| Bergarten er mørkegrønn amfibol-biotittgneis som er ganske lik gneisen ved Majavatn. En god del utsprengt masse lå i bruddet ved befaringen, og noe av dette ble vurdert å egne seg til murestein. I Grane kommune får vi opplyst at det er Statens Vegvesen som driver bruddet. Massen blir brukt i forbindelse med utbedring av fylkesveien øst for Nedre Fiplingvatn. Storparten blir brukt i veifyllinger, men noe sorteres ut og brukes som murestein i forstøtningsmurer langs veien. |
