I bekken er biotittgneisen svakt sulfidførende over ca. 2m mektighet. Svovelkis, magnetkis og kobberkis er finfordelt i gneisen. Pegmatittganger gjennomsetter gneisen i flere retninger. I nærliggende skjerp, som ikke ble funnet, viser en analyse fra den rikeste delen 1.95% Cu (Zweifel).
