The Reppen deposit comprises mineralisation of Au, As, Sb, Pb and Zn outcropping over a distance of about 1 km in the hanging wall of a regional N-trending fault zone intersecting granite-veined supracrustals. Hydrothermal activity during brittle deformation generated quartz breccias, stockwork of quartz veins and narrow single veins as well as fracture-bound silicification of the granites locally grading into 1–5 m thick lenses of massive quartz. The gold mineralisation occurs mainly along their margins and locally in the immediately adjacent marbles comprises semi-massive veinlets and dissemination of co-precipitated arsenopyrite, pyrite and native gold. Both the quartz veining and the arsenopyrite mineralisation decrease in intensity away from the fault zone, and cease after about 150 m towards the east. The Reppen mineralisation is characterised by ore shoots rich in jamesonite and boulangerite which, like the other sulphides, contain inclusions of native gold occasionally filling micro-fractures. Work conducted by A/S Sulfidmalm in 1982–83 on large samples from the old trenches indicate 5–7 g/t Au over 4–5 m. The tonnage potential was considered to be about 1 Mt. Core drilling also revealed the presence of garnet-clinopyroxene skarns in the marbles at depth with pyrrhotite mineralisation having enhanced contents of scheelite and gold (0.1–0.3 g/t Au).

Abstract:
Petersen gir en kort innføring i områdets geologi og beskriver deretter de enkelte skjerp på forekomsten. Generelt består malmen av arsenkis og svovelkis assosiert med kvartsganger. Rapporten er også gjengitt i BA 148 og BA 748. Deretter følger en kort beskrivelse av Reppen-feltet med en del kjemiske analyser. Dette er skrevet av P. C. Bjerke (se BA 148.) En oppsummering av kjemiske analyser følger til slutt. Denne rapporten og BA 148 har samme innhold bortsett fra at BA 148 også inneholder kopi av W. C. Youngs rapport fra 1899 (se orginal av denne i BA 3559).

Abstract:
The present paper is published by NGU as a report from "Statens Raastofkomite" on the emergency production of arsenic during the war when the supplies, ordinarily imported, were cut off. The paper also contains a synopsis of the geology of the arsenic deposits of Norway. Pages 4-7 contain a description of the old smalt works of Modum in Southern Norway, where, many years ago, cobalt ore was mined for smalt, arsenic being obtained as a bi.product. The ore forms "fahlbands" and is too poor to be mined with profit at present. On pages 7-10 the Listøli arsenic mine in Telemark in Southern Norway is described. The ore occurs in a dike which is from 0,15 to 1 m wide. Besides arsenopyrite some tetrahedrite and molybdenite also occur. The total production from this mine amounts to about 400 tons of arsenic ore with an average content of 25-30 pct. As. On pages 10-20 the arsenic ores of Northern Norway are described. Arseno- pyrite is the only arsenic ore known from this part of the country.

Abstract:
Rapport etter reise til Bindal sammen med Arthur Bjerke og O. W. Johannesen i sept. 1923. Forf. skriver systematisk om beliggenhet, topografi m.v. kraft, skogen, historie og veier og transportforhold. Det gis også en generell beskrivelse av geologi i Bindal og en kort oversikt over forekomsten. Eventuell drift i området blir også vurdert, og i den forbindelse understrekes det at arsenmalm er hovedertsen. Gull vil være et biprodukt. Videre nevnes det at arbeiderne bør hentes blant lokalbefolkningen fordi disse "i det lange løp er å foretrekke fremfor anleggsslusk". Som konklusjon tilråder forfatteren at prøvedrift blir satt i gang så snart som mulig. Til slutt i rapporten finnes en oversikt over forskjellige analyser utført fram til 1924.

Abstract:
Rapporten har en kort innledning med oversikt over en del eldre rapporter, beliggenhet og generell geologi. Forekomsten ligger ved Rundhaugen og følger en N-S gående kvartsgang. Fra den sydlige delen av Rundhaugen og over toppen i 150 meters lengde beskrives seks skjerp med arsenkis og svovelkis. Arsenertser fører 33 g gull pr. tonn med arsengehalt på 36%. Svovelertsen har 6 g gull pr. tonn. Malmkvantitet og -kvalitet og utnyttelse av malmen (oppredning) blir vurdert til slutt.
