Korssteinen hovedsakelig mt,-malm. Hovedskjerpet med 4m mt.-malm ligger 60m o.h. 120-160m lenger sørvest ligger et annet skjerp med 1,2m og 0,5m tykk mt.-malm, 65m o.h. 300m nordøst for hovedskjerpet er en 2m tykk fattig hematitt-mineralisering(21% Fe total) som mot sørvest går over i 0,6-1 m mt,-malm (30 m.o.h.). Dette nedre malmlag kan bare følges 50 m i strøkretningen. Hovedskjerp: Malmtykkelse 4 m, 60 m.o.h. 160m SV for hovedskjerp: Malmtykkelse 0,5-1,2 m, 65 m o.h., 300m NØ for hovedskjerp: Malmtykkelse 0,6-2m,30 m o.h. Tonnasjen er: Hovedskjerp og SV-over: Tykkelse 2m,lengde 160m,dybde 100m. Med spes.v. 3,2 vil det gi 102 400 tonn NØ for hovedskjerp: Tykkelse 2m,lengde 50m,dybde 20m. Med spes.v. 3,2 vil det gi 3 200 tonn. Det er boret 3 hull tilsammen 71m ved Korssteinen. Malmen er 1-4m tykk. 4 kjemiske analyser fra 1976 og 1977 viser: Fe tot. Fe magn.
