Lapkersti-elven mt.-malm ligger 240-250m o.h. i samme posisjon som Resskvanto 650m lenger øst, men de ikke sammenhengende. Man kan regne 2m tykkelse, 100m lengde og 100m ned langs malmfallet som gir 64 000 tonn (spes.v. 3,2). Malmen kan følges 100m i strøkretningen med malmtykkelser 1,5-2m og 4m. Det er boret 4 hull tilsammen 195m derav 16,5m i malm.3 av hullene førte malm, malmtykkelse 1-4m (20-30% Fe total). Borhullene ligger i stollområdet til Lappkerstielven og 700m øst nordøstover. 5 prøver fra Lappkerstielven er analysert ved Norsk Jernverk 1977, og viser følgende resultat: Fe tot. Fe magn. MnO TiO2 P S 35.6% 35.6% 0.12% 0.13% 0.120% 0.004% 43.7% 42.4% 0.54% 0.17% 0.053% 0.009% 30.9% 26.7% 0.10% 0.32% 0.249% 0.015% 23.8% 19.6% 0.08% 0.37% 0.189% 0.006% 28.3% 20.1% 0.23% 0.37% 0.220% 0.008% -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 32.4% 28.8% 0.21% 0.27% 0.166% 0.008%
