175 m.o.h. går en 20m lang stoll mot øst-nord-øst. Den er drevet gjennom middelskornet granittisk gneis i mineraliseringens ligg, men ikke langt nok til å nå mineralisering. 15 - 20m over stollen har mineraliseringen utgående over ca. 6m mektighet. Det er her avrøsket litt samt nedsatt en bolt. Det er kvartsrik semimassiv magnetitt- ilmenittmalm med noe magnetkis (prøve 03 og 04. Prøve 05 er gjennomsnittsprøve/knakkprøve). Hengbergart er middelskornet granittisk gneis (prøve 01). 1-2 desimeters mektighet av hengkontakten er granatrik (prøve 02). Iflg. Ursin (1908) fortsetter mineraliseringen nordover over Høgtinden og ned Sørdalen.
