I en skrent er det skjerpet, og tippen inneholder 30 m3. Bergarten er granatglimmergneis (prøve 08), noe karbonatholdig. Det er to sulfidimpregnerte lag i gneisen. Sulfidmineralene er, som gangbergarten finkornet, og svært finfordelt - og derfor vanskelige å identifisere. Magnetkis og svovelkis er dominerende, sammen med noe kobberkis. Identifisering av blyglans og sinkblende er usikker. De mineraliserte lagene inneholder totalt ca. 10 % sulfidmineraler. Det nederst mineraliserte laget (01 og 02) er 20-30 cm mektig. Det øverste er ca. 1 m (04-07). Mellomliggende er 1 m mektig karbonatholdig granatglimmergneis med litt sulfid-disseminasjon (03). Gangbergarten er lys grå kvarts-feltspatgneis med noe biotitt og muskovitt. Den er markert mer finkornet enn sidebergarten, med mindre innhold av glimmer og uten granat. I tillegg til de to mineraliserte lagene er det noen smale lag både i heng og ligg. Endresen (1972) oppgir at mineraliseringene fører gull i tillegg til kis og kobberkis.
