The Fuglestrand-Rallkatt-Skravlåga-Buktelv iron formation is interpreted to continue southwards to Almåsen, approximately 12 km SSW of Buktelv. The IF is more than 10 m thick and is exposed in the uppermost part of a very steep E-facing hill. It comprises massive to finely banded, fine grained magnetite-hematite mineralisation in a dark green amphibolitic matrix (Sample JS_FE1709-10). The area is not well exposed and only minor outcrops with garnet-mica schist is observed west of the IF.
