En 12m lang røskegrøft er skutt ut for å prøveta mineraliseringen. Bergarten er kvartsrik, grafittholdig granatglimmerskifer. Mineraliseringen er minst 8m mektig og har strøklengde på ca. 200m. Den er stratabunden og fører disseminasjon av kobberkis, cubanitt, blyglans, sinkblende og magnet- kis samt flere aksessoriske ertsmineraler (Lindahl 1968). Prøve 01 er knakkprøver fra rik disseminasjon, mens 02 er knakkprøver fra gjennom- snittsmineralisering. Det er vanlig med litt disseminasjon av sulfider i hele Kongsfjellområdet. Ved UTM 451900 7310000 ble det funnet granatglimmerskifer med smale bånd av amfibolitt som begge hadde disseminasjon av kobberkis, magnetkis og malakitt (03).
