Forekomsten ligger på vestsiden av et lite dalføre som munner ut på østsiden av Lille Finnlitjønn og som løper nordover mot Røyskattdalen. Forekomsten ble ikke undersøkt eller prøvetatt av Boliden AB midt på 30-tallet. Den omfatter et konjungert system av skjær- eller sprekkesoner (6 ialt) som har utstrekning på 25-50 m og som opptrer over en bredde av 50 m på tvers av strøket som er Ø-V og ØSØ-VNV (se strukturer). Sprekkesonene, som er 0,2-2m brede, gjennomsetter grå toglimmergranitter som i sprekkesonene blir mer rødlig eller lysere grå og bleket. Sonene dør ut mot Finnlidalen i øst og mot gneiskontakten i vest. Mineraliseringen, som omfatter disseminasjon og opptil 10 mm brede semi-massive sprekkefyllinger av arsenkis og litt svovelkis, er uregelmessig fordelt langs sprekkesonene. Svak mineralisering kan følges relativt sammenhengende over 5-10 m lengde. Lokalt opptrer innfylling av kvarts og serisittomvandlet granitt. Det nordligste sprekkesystem (UTM 400460 7237990) fører ultraklasittårer med kun aksessorisk arsenkis.
