| I en veiskjæring ca. 150 m syd for kommunegrensen mellom Fitjar og Stord kommuner finnes en 6 m lang og 30-35 cm tykk kvartsåre med orientering 28°/30°Ø. 10 m lenger nord opptrer en annen kvartsåre. Denne er minst 2 m lang, ca. 15 cm tykk, er orientert 54°/58°SØ og har litt svovelkis. Av denne ble det innsamlet en "chip-sample". Vertsbergart er epidotgranitt. Disse kvartsårene virker uinteressante. Mineraliseringen er ikke omtalt i litteraturen. |
