En minst 35 m lang veiskjæring med noe rust finnes på sørvestsida av veien, nord for brua over elva og ca. 1 m ØSØ for Åmot. Mineraliseringen er påvist i nyere tid og ingen skjerpearbeider er utført. I en kvartsittisk bergart finnes kvarts, dels i m-brede ganger, som årenettverk og tensjonsprekker i cm- til dm-skala. Årenettverket er lokalt fylt med aggregater av pyritt+arsenkis? i cm-skala. I tillegg ble det også prøvetatt spekkefyllinger tynne kvarts-kobberkis årer med randsone av et svart mineral i kvartsitten. Retningen på rustsona er ikke bestemt.
