Forekomsten ligger i glissen furuskog ca. 60 m sørvest for en skogsbilvei. En vannfylt synk med sidevegger på 6x4 m og en vannfylt grop 10 m sør for synken finnes. I nordveggen i synken er blottet rustfarget og middelskornet, biotittførende, kvartsittisk bergart med foliasjon 1°/72°. Den fører svak disseminasjon av et sølvgrått mineral; magnetkis eller Co-mineral? og kobberkis. Det er ingen tipp synlig ved synken.

Ca. 60 m nord for hovedsynken ligger et grunt skjerp med sidevegger på 4x3,5 m. Det er gjengrodd og fylt med skrot, men en mindre nabbe med kvarts-feltspat-glimmer gneis med svak sulfiddisseminasjon er blottet. På tippen finnes både blokker av gneis og en middelskornet amfibolittisk bergart med kraftig disseminasjon av kobberkis og magnetkis. Målinger med bærbar-XRF viser at den amfibolittiske bergarten har høyest innhold av kobolt, men denne er ikke observert i fast fjell.

En grunn skjæring fylt med skrot finnes ca. 50 m nordvest for hovedsynken og bare 10 m fra turstien. Båndet og finkornet, biotittførende kvartsittisk bergart med svak disseminasjon av magnetkis og kobberkis dominerer. Tipp er ikke observert.
