Denne forekomsten ligger på vestsiden av Sandfjellet, ca. 9 km Ø for Sylte ved Norddalsfjorden i en høyde av 1100 m.o.h. innenfor kartblad 1319-4. Det er ca. 3 km ned til riksvei 63 mellom Sylte og Trollstigen og ca. 9 km til Norddalsfjorden. Forekomsten har form som to linser hver med utstrekning på ca. 300x500 meter og en mindre 100x200 meter. Bergarten er grovkornet og består av olivin, serpentin, talk, grønn amfibol og kromitt. Olivinen har stedvis en gressgrønn farge og er nesten klar. Opptil 1 cm store krystaller av brun serpentin ligger spredt noen få steder i tynne bånd. De lagene som er rike på serpentin opptrer periodevis og i veksling med olivinrike lag. Kromitt og amfibol ligger som spredte krystallaggregater av ulik størrelse langs foliasjonen. Denne forekomsten er meget godt blottet, men beligenheten i 1100 m.o.h. tilsier at den har liten økonomisk interesse.
